YOUR NEW APPOINTMENT JOURNEY

BEFORE YOUR APPOINTMENT

COVID-19 SCREENING

We will complete screening checks with you ahead of your appointment

MEDICAL HISTORY

You may be asked to complete and return a new medical history form if this cannot be done over the phone


ON THE DAY OF YOUR APPOINTMENT

BEFORE YOUR LEAVE HOME

Before you leave for the practice please ensure you have visited the lavatory and brushed your teeth

BRING AS LITTLE AS POSSIBLE

Please avoid bringing any additional items with you

3.
PLEASE ATTEND ALONE

We request that you attend your appointment unaccompanied unless you require a parent or carer.

PHONE WHEN YOU ARRIVE

Please call the practice when you arrive. Please remain in your car or outside the practice following social distancing recommendations

5.
WE WILL INVITE YOU IN

The practice door will be locked until your appointment is ready to begin


ENTERING THE PRACTICE

WE WILL CALL YOU

We will call or text you when it is time for you to enter the practice

2.
TEMPERATURE CHECK

Before entry we will need to take your temperature.
*Our staff will also undergo daily temperature checks

3.
KEEP EVERYONE SAFE

On entering the practice you will be provided with a mask and you will be asked to sanitise your hands

4.
ADDED PROTECTION

Our reception team will be sat behind a plastic screen for added protection

5.
WE WILL GUIDE YOU

There will be no patients in the waiting room, you will be guided straight to the treatment room

6.
CARD PAYMENTS

We ask that you pay ideally by card

7.
SOCIAL DISTANCE

We will also have distancing markers on the floors to ensure a safe distance is maintained


IN THE TREATMENT ROOM

1.
WE'LL LOOK AFTER YOUR THINGS

Before you enter the treatment room you will be asked to leave your coat/bag in the box provided

2.
IT'S STILL US BEHIND THE PPE

On entering you will be greeted with our staff dressed in PPE gear. 
PLEASE NOTE - Non standard PPE is now required to carry out aerosol generating procedures (use of drills or airflow machine) this will incur an additional £20 fee

3.
RINSE YOUR MOUTH

Depending on your procedure, you may be required to swill with a hydrogen peroxide solution for one minute

4.
EXTRA CLEANING

All treatment rooms are cleaned and disinfected between each patient, the stair rails and reception desk are also disinfected after each patient
